You make awesome videos but why you have very less subscriber…..I think you must have more subscribers ..🙁😉😁

@Fraser Cain Why do NASA never launch multiple time the same satellite/space telescope?
It look like they develop everything from the ground up each time :/

Hi Fraser, you mentioned your binoculars are 15×70. What’s the brand/model?

Jordan SA

Why is repairing the reaction wheels not an option?

Habitable exoplanets we find today may not be habitable NOW. Some are thousands of light years away and a lot could’ve happened by the time its light reaches us 🙁

Great video! Is TESS going to use gyroscopes to reorient itself or another mechanism?

What about exo-sunspots? How can they tell these apart from transiting planets?

Hello love this channel and I have learned alot. When do you believe when we will get the first clear picture of a planet outside our solar system?

Christopher Blackman

Hi Fraser. How feasible is it that a probe could hitch a ride on Halley’s Comet in 2062 (if we’re still here then)? Or would it even be worth trying? Thanks

Hi Fraser love the video’s. In the 80’s cartoon Thundar the Barbarian a run away asteroid passes between earth and the moon and causes world havoc could this really happen?

Cadeyrn Dragheim

I have a question, could there be another galaxy really close to us that might hit us in the next 100 million or so ye

How do we know Andromeda is heading directly at us? Obviously we can see its radial velocity due to the Doppler effect, but what about the tangent velocity? Is it possible that it will miss us?

Do we have enough data concerning the position and vectors of stars to simulate what constellations will look like from Earth in the distant future?

    Hi Fraser!
Wondering about photons. Are they a part of the entire electromagnet spectrum or just "visible light"? If the entire spectrum would they be different for each wavelength? If just visible light it begs the question "what is visible light?" since different creatures can sometimes "see" in different wavelengths.
    Thanks!

Thanks for taking all these questions, I appreciate the time you invest in this. What do you think of the Gateway Foundation and their idea for a centripetal-gravity commercial space station in LEO? I’d love to see you interview John Blincow, the guy in charge. The latest video, about the BFR needing a spaceport in LEO, really got me thinking… but your take would be helpful. (So would that interview, especially if you got someone from Planetsry Resources or DSI in the conversation too!)

In the next quintillion years when heat death has caused the last black hole to die. When not a single particle can form. Does that mean Gravity it self will cease to exist?.

Talking about using the Sun as a gravitational lens with a telescope, how large of an area could we cover like that? Would the higher resolution really worth it? Since as far as I know we would have no way to adjust the focus then, I assume the area would be a relatively narrow ring, although I guess on astronomical scales that could still be a huge space.

On another note, how much does the notification bell and watching recommended videos help you and other YouTubers? I'm kinda worried now, because I don't use these at all. Rather I have my subscription feed constantly open in my browser and check it multiple times a day. I do watch most of the videos on it all the way through and use the Like button liberally. 🙂

Do we know how many reaction wheels have actually failed? Some things just rarely fail being how important they are sending a spare isn't a bad thing but if the number of failure they have had have been really really low sending more wouldn't make sense.

Hi Fraser…you may have covered this before in fact I'm sure you have but I'm interested to know what your current view on the Fermi paradox is? As humans we're pretty much assured that we're about to colonize the solar system then the local area of our galaxy as long as we maintain some kind of peace and a roid doesn't smash into Earth. It seems highly unlikely after that we won't move to the entire galaxy. So where are all the aliens? I'd like to hear your current view 🙂

Hi Fraser. Suppose that the expansion of the universe does accelerate forever. At some point in the future, not even quark pairs could resist this expansion. However, when quark pairs get separated enough, a new quark pair forms. Does this mean that all of the dark energy in the universe will get dumped into a quark plasma?

hi Fraser I’m new to your channel and love your vids thanks so much 🙂
I have a question: Why does a star need to go supernova for a blackhole to form? Why wont it just form from the extreme gravity and mass of the star in the first place rather than at the end of the star’s life? Also, are neutron stars and blackholes similar in their behaviour? Cheers Jett.

The earth has seasons because our planet is tilted, I think the tilt is 23,44. But would we have seasons if earth didn't have this tilt?

Can Meissner effect be used to generate a magnetic field for propulsion? Since this works on superconductivity and it needs to be cold, would space be cold enough for it to work?

[Q] This is my first question ever.
Think about the distant future. What do you think and cosmic GPS? I mean targeting and directing spacecraft in the solar system. Is it possible? How would it look like? How many satellites do we need? Where would these satellites have to be placed? What would be the accuracy of such a GPS?

So this video raised a question for me about near earth asteroids/meteors ans space telescope repair feasibility .
Would it not be possible to kill these two birds with a thousand smallsats?

Launch a thin cloud of smallsat telescopes up beyond the orbit of the space station surrounding the earth trained outward to detect near earth objects. They wouldn't need to have super definition. All they would need is the ability to concentrate on their own area of observation to make continual stills and transmit the data to earth so time delay analysis would show any movements. Would be cheaper and have better capabilities even with low-tech observation devices. Maybe have a return to earth programme on them to avoid creating any more space debris. Maybe even collect them and service or dispose of them on the spacestation. Maybe even build some on the space station.

There are now five different lines of observational evidence pointing to the existence of Planet Nine,” said Konstantin Batygin, a planetary astrophysicist at Caltech in Pasadena.

Some of these clues relate to the gravitational tug of Planet Nine, which appears to be disturbing the distant Kuiper Belt, which is made up of icy objects and stretches from Neptune out into deep space.

Its believed Planet Nine is a “super-Earth”, the name for a type of large world which appears to be very common in the universe.

Doom-mongers have consistently claimed that a hidden world called Nibiru will crash into Earth.

Nasa has denied this theory, previously writing: “The planet in question, Niburu, doesn’t exist, so there will be no collision.

“The story of Niburu has been around for years (as has the ‘days of darkness’ tale) and is periodically recycled into new apocalyptic fables.”

However, it’s feared Planet Nine will eventually destroy the solar system by causing a devastating “death dance”.

It could one day hurtle through our solar system, sending planets “pinballing” into outer space or plunging into the Sun.

The real story of Nibiru (Planet X)

First we go once again back to the creation story of Mesopotamia

The SUMERIANS always described their Gods as planets starting with Pluto, then Neptune, Uranus, etc., as if they were seeing the planets from a heavenly body (or spacecraft ?) that was entering our solar system from the outside.

The Sumerian seal (below), with the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, Unknown ( about size of Uranus/Neptune), Jupiter, Saturn, Indeterminate (about size of Mercury), Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.

The SUMERIANS also mentioned a “twelfth” planet called “NIBIRU”, one whose elliptical orbit brought it close to Earth for a brief period about every 3,600 years.

The Sumerians and later also the Babylonians mention about a long time ago in Ancient times in which Nibiru (Marduk), until that time a stranger in our solar system, had a fight in heaven with Tiamat and Kingu. At that time, millions of years ago, the satellites of Nibiru (Marduk) collapsed with Tiamat (a planet at least two times the mass of Earth) and broke it in 2 parts.

In accordance to the theory of Zecharia Sitchin and others, the 2 parts of Tiamat were forced to another orbit around the Sun, One part was broken in small parts and are now called The Asteroid Belt (between Mars and Jupiter) and Asteroids Meteorites and Comets. The other part was forced into his new orbit between Venus and Mars and became the Earth. Kingu became the Moon of the “new planet” Earth. Nibiru was forced into an elliptical orbit around the Sun and its new orbit was from that time on a cycle of 3,600 years around the Sun.

Before I unfold my theory about the timeline of the above events and what happened afterwards I like to honor first the writer of “The Earth Chronicles” Zecharia Sitchin for his great in depth study of the Sumerian and Babylonian history and his theory of which most I agree.
