Nickelodeon Plans To Reboot Past Shows – Rugrats, Victorious and MORE Coming Back?!

Nickelodeon has announced it’s revival of some of their classic hits and you’re not going to wanna miss this!
This Thursday just got a WHOLE lot better seeing that some of our favorite classic TV show might be coming back in the near future!!

So before you lose all your cool like I did when I heard that shows like Rugrats could once again be gracing our TV screens once again, hold up for just a second. Nickelodeon is going strong, however the president of content and development told Variety QUOTE: “We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way,”

Under the plan set place so far, Nickelodeons president Russel Hicks stated that they might seek to experiment with retold versions of classics, that could include ‘Rugrats’ Hey Arnold, ‘You Can’t Do That on Televeision,’ and Victorious… These shows might not come back as actual series, but could appear in other formats like a movie or a special, however these specials will not consist of the majority of the networks development efforts.

Although specific shows have not been released, Hicks did hint at the generation that watched Nickelodeon in the earliest days, stating that they now have children. Hicks said QUOTE: “We are getting ready to bring back some of the ones they’ve told us multiple times they want to have brought back,”

And some are already speculating that the effort has quietly begun. Kel Mitchell, who we fell in love with on the Nickelodeon series “Kenan & Kel,” will have a role in “Game Shakers,” which is a new series set to debut Sept. 12.

Here’s to hoping shows like Doug, Rugrats AND Hey Arnold come back to us once again.

Have you heard of miss spider sunny patch friends? Its a show that aired on the Nick Jr. station from 2004 to 2007. It was based on story books by David Kirk. do you know why they canceled the series? Please reply! Im guessing the reason why they ended that show because the voice actors of Spiderus and Betty Beetle passed away. Please tell the president of Nickelodeon they have to reboot this show on the nick jr station. that show was my favorite. Find the previous voice actors from the past and get some new ones please because i had dreams about that show. Please do it as fast as you can.

Radiolab – In The Dust Of This Planet

Radiolab – In The Dust Of This Planet
Horror, fashion, and the end of the world … things get weird as we explore the undercurrents of thought that link nihilists, beard-stroking philosophers, Jay-Z, and True Detective.

Today on Radiolab, a puzzle. Jad’s brother-in-law wrote a book called ‘In The Dust of This Planet’.
It’s an academic treatise about the horror humanity feels as we realize that we are nothing but a speck in the universe. For a few years nobody read it. But then …
We talk nihilism with Eugene Thacker & Simon Critchley, leather jackets with June Ambrose, climate change with David Victor, and hope with the father of Transcendental Black Metal – Hunter Hunt Hendrix of the band Liturgy. Special thanks to Thrill Jockey for use of the Liturgy song ‘Generation’. It’s from their album Aesthetica, out now, which is highly recommended listening for the end times.
Correction: An earlier version of this piece mistakenly identified Nic Pizzolatto as the director of True Detective, when he is in fact the creator, writer, and executive producer of the series. The audio has been adjusted to reflect this fact. Cary Fukunaga (brilliantly) directed season one of True Detective.
