Conspiracy – Kritzinger’s Story

“Conspiracy” was an HBO original movie about the Wannsee conference, in which several Nazi officials met and would eventually plan the Holocaust.

In this sequence, Reinhard Heydrich shares a “warning” with his SS friends.

Kenneth Brannagh plays Reinhard Heydrich, with Stanley Tucci as Colonel Adolf Eichmann.

Only Kenneth Branagh could have delivered this story brilliantly as it is. British acting! the best in the world.

@ImperialGuard9001 Are you sure you're not refering to WWI? In WWI & II British & French used African troops.

@Bowkow No. He died later . Later enough to make Hitler hate him. HItlers father was abusive man to his mother and to his son.

@Sovereignty10 Um, that wasn't cynical. I was simply saying if it was true, it'd be an interesting fact.

@ForImperium The gas chambers are still there to this day in many cases, how unusual that u fail to mention that. A footnote in the Wikipedia article lists a link to the English translation of the Wannsee Conference minutes. It's quite clear to me that the word "evacuation" is used in place of "extermination" in their "final solution" plan enumerating the number of Jews to be "evactuated" from each country including England. Hundreds of pics of corpses after the war aren't fake.

@ForImperium I haven't seen the film in the vid, it may be infotainment.

"delouse inmates"? "constructed afterwards"? "mass famine"? Complete nonsense. " During his trial, when accused of murdering three and a half million people. Höss replied, "No. Only two and one half million — the rest died from disease and starvation."[17]"–Wikipedia

There was plenty of food to keep the Germans fat. The mountains of hair, shoes, etc. are still there.

U are full of shit bub.

@ForImperium Like I said, u are full of shit. "All resources would have went to the war effort". The documents still exist ordering military trains going to the Eastern front to be sidetracked so that trains carrying Jews to the ovens could get there faster.

If u want to watch a film about what actually happened watch "Kitty Return to Auschwitz". It's posted on YouTube in 14 parts. She was in Birkenau, and went back in 1979 and made a film.

@ForImperium They didn't feed all of them as evidenced by the hundreds of pics of "musselmen", starved corpses at nearly every camp, while also in many of the same pics can be seen fat Germans. Some were kept alive for a while, while most were gassed. Most estimates I've seen indicate 75 to 80% of each transport was sent to the gas at Birkenau. There are pics of the selektions, one side to work, one side to gas. As usual u are incorrect and full of shit.

I thought it was Hitler he was talking about. Which is true, but it is life for most of us. You never grasp love you take advantage of it. Hate on the other hand can fuel you till its gone and then what? Some feel free but people like soldiers lose an enemy they end up fighting themselves. We are human always need to overcome something we hate and when we do there is like he said no meaning.

So deeply disturbing. Not only is it unimaginable that such conversations ever occurred on this earth…but the fact that this was but just 70 years ago…it makes you realize that cruelty, hatred and blind prejudice exist just a whisper or heartbeat away at all times.

Instead of trying to figure out the "right" person to hate or feeling angry at not understanding what is happening in the daily violence of the world, may I suggest that you are wise enough to know that hating a group of people never has a good ending for either the hater or the hated, and that it is okay to be someone who receives knowledge, and not necessary to always know more than someone else. There is only one race, the human race, all the other "races" we made up to do the census.

Does anyone know if this is a real parable? Who or what is it attributed to?

  25. Valkyrie Sardo

    June 11, 2014 at 11:21 pm

Kritzinger's Story is a parable, a brief story that illustrates a moral principle. A parable describes a universal truth that applies to every man. Hatred can be a primary driving force. But if the object of hatred is finally oblitereated, one can be at a loss for a reason to live. The Nazis were obsessed with eradicating the Jews. Hitler demanded total loyalty to his person. Once all Jews were gone and Hitler died, what would Germany live for?  Was there a positive objective in the Nazi ideology?

Every holocaust denier is a complete and total idiot!

Those who say it was never policy maybe able to hide behind lack of written clear instructions, however the work of the Einsatzgruppen can not be discounted. The desire to kill folk is very clear, it's just a matter of number's or scale.

Good film, but the Kritzinger's story is complete rubbish .

The Germans exterminated all these millions of people and when you mention it now they say 'That was a long time ago. Germany is a different country now'. or 'Both sides did terrible things, but you only hear about Germany's because they lost' or 'Hitler brainwashed the people'. They actually feel more angry that people bring it up, and think that they are the victims.

Most countries in the world are founded on horrific violence, and no one gives a crap. You might get a few crocodile tears from the odd liberal, but that's about it. The world moves on.

Radiolab – In The Dust Of This Planet

Radiolab – In The Dust Of This Planet
Horror, fashion, and the end of the world … things get weird as we explore the undercurrents of thought that link nihilists, beard-stroking philosophers, Jay-Z, and True Detective.

Today on Radiolab, a puzzle. Jad’s brother-in-law wrote a book called ‘In The Dust of This Planet’.
It’s an academic treatise about the horror humanity feels as we realize that we are nothing but a speck in the universe. For a few years nobody read it. But then …
We talk nihilism with Eugene Thacker & Simon Critchley, leather jackets with June Ambrose, climate change with David Victor, and hope with the father of Transcendental Black Metal – Hunter Hunt Hendrix of the band Liturgy. Special thanks to Thrill Jockey for use of the Liturgy song ‘Generation’. It’s from their album Aesthetica, out now, which is highly recommended listening for the end times.
Correction: An earlier version of this piece mistakenly identified Nic Pizzolatto as the director of True Detective, when he is in fact the creator, writer, and executive producer of the series. The audio has been adjusted to reflect this fact. Cary Fukunaga (brilliantly) directed season one of True Detective.
